Cesar Gomez-Martinez

In loving memory of Cesar Gomez-Martinez, a cherished soul whose smile, laughter, warm hugs, and deep care for his family and the world around him have left an indelible mark on all who were fortunate enough to know him. Cesar's journey began on January 20, 1986, in Mexico City, Mexico, where he brought joy and light to his family from the moment he entered this world.

Cesar's passion for psychology led him to pursue higher education at CSUB, where he embarked on different projects. Beyond academics, Cesar's musical talents shone brightly with the Los Angeles All City Marching Band, Colburn School, jazz bands, Chalkline Kuhdavers, La Resistencia, and Raskahuele. His music was not just a skill but a reflection of his innermost self – a beautiful harmony of passion and creativity.

Known for his gentle demeanor and unwavering kindness, Cesar touched hearts across the globe with his infectious smile and genuine compassion. His peaceful nature and endless fount of ideas inspired all who crossed his path. Whether playing or watching soccer, Cesar found solace in the game he loved dearly.

On July 17, 2024, all of us lost a dear musician, friend, husband, brother, son, and much more. The enormity of this loss is felt deeply by all who knew Cesar. He approached life with determination and courage, always striving to better himself and those around him. While we mourn the dreams left unfulfilled and the aspirations left hanging in the air, we find solace in carrying forth his legacy with honor and dignity.

Survived by his loving wife Erika Ayar Gomez, devoted mother Claudia Gomez, caring father Felipe Gomez, and beloved sister Thania K Gomez-Martinez; Cesar's memory will continue to live on through the hearts of those who treasured him.

En memoria de Cesar Gomez-Martinez, una alma querida cuya sonrisa, carcajadas, cálidos abrazos y profundo cuidado por su familia y el mundo que lo rodea ha dejado una marca indeleble en todos los que tuvieron la suerte de conocerlo. El viaje de Cesar comenzó el 20 de enero de 1986, en la Ciudad de México, México, donde trajo alegría y luz a su familia desde el momento en que vino a este mundo.

La pasión de Cesar por la psicología lo llevó a realizar estudios superiores en CSUB, donde se embarcó en diferentes proyectos. Más allá de lo académico, los talentos musicales de Cesar brillaron con Los Angeles All City Marching Band, la escuela musical de Colburn, bandas de jazz, Chalkline Kuhdavers, La Resistencia y Raskahuele. Su música no era sólo una habilidad sino un reflejo de su ser más íntimo: una hermosa armonía de pasión y creatividad.

Conocido por su comportamiento amable y bondad inquebrantable, Cesar tocó corazones en todo el mundo con su sonrisa contagiosa y su compasión genuina. Su naturaleza pacífica y su interminable fuente de ideas inspiraron a todos los que se cruzaron en su camino. Ya sea jugando o viendo fútbol, Cesar encontró consuelo en el juego que amaba muchísimo.

El 17 de julio de 2024, todos perdimos a un querido músico, amigo, esposo, hermano, hijo y mucho más. Todos los que conocieron a Cesar sienten profundamente la enormidad de esta pérdida. Abordó la vida con determinación y coraje, esforzándose siempre por mejorar él mismo y quienes lo rodeaban. Mientras lamentamos los sueños que no se cumplieron y las aspiraciones que quedaron suspendidas en el aire, encontramos consuelo en llevar adelante su legado con honor y dignidad.

Le sobrevive su amada esposa Erika Ayar Gomez, su devota madre Claudia Gomez, su cariñoso padre Felipe Gomez y su amada hermana Thania K Gómez-Martínez; La memoria de Cesar seguirá viva en los corazones de quienes lo atesoraron.
