Cenon Viloria Olaires

December 8, 1941 — December 24, 2020

Cenon Viloria Olaires Jr., 79 yrs old, was born in the Philippines on December 8, 1941, and passed away on December 24, 2020.

At a young age, Cenon started with a newspaper delivery route. He quickly grew into a self-made entrepreneur and established his Newspaper & Magazine business. His ambition inspired a family-owned business enterprise with his father and brothers, leading to the birth of "Cenon O. Olaires & Sons" Newspaper & Magazine Distribution Company in the Philippines.

Cenon, also known as "Jun or Junior," chased his next dream to move to America and slowly bring his family here. He started his migration to Hawaii, then Chicago, where his wife and son joined him. Finally, he settled in California, where his three daughters soon followed to complete the family again. He was a hardworking man and didn't mind getting his hands dirty with a blue-collar career. He stayed in the newspaper business with The Los Angeles Times until he retired.

Cenon lost his beloved wife, Carmencita, 23 years ago, and now they are reunited once again. Cenon leaves behind his legacy with his four children; Robert, Venus, Josephine, Theresa, and ten beautiful grandchildren.

He resided in Anaheim, CA at the time of his passing. Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn, Long Beach, California.
