Cenicio Ulit, Sr.

Cenicio Ulit Sr. passed away on December 23, 2025. He was a good and faithful servant of the Lord.

Born on May 21, 1945, in Batac, Ilocos Norte, Philippines, Cenicio was raised in Ilocos Norte before attending Manuel L. Quezon University in Manila. There, he completed his studies and earned a degree in Chemical Engineering.

On July 19, 1970, Cenicio married Rosalinda. Following his graduation, he emigrated to the United States, settling first in Chicago, Illinois. Rosalinda joined him there in January 1971. While their first child, a daughter named Belinda, was stillborn, they were later blessed with three sons: Matthew, Phillip, and Cenicio Jr. The family relocated to California in 1980.

It was during his years in California that Cenicio committed his life to the Lord. His faith grew alongside his family as active members of the Filipino Christian Fellowship Church (FCFC). Cenicio shared that his relationship with Christ transformed him into a better man for his family, friends, and colleagues. He cited Hebrews 11:6 as one of his life verses: “And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him.”

Cenicio thanked God for his many blessings, particularly his 55-year marriage to Rosalinda. He is survived by his wife and his three sons and daughters-in-law: Matthew and Susan, Phillip and Jessica, and Cenicio Jr. and Kristine. He also leaves behind ten grandsons: Logan, Luke, Nathan, Oliver, Emmett, Charlie, Aaron, Norrin, Ethan, and Andrew.
