Celestino “Les” Quito was born August 16, 1946 in Manila, Philippines and passed at the age of 79 in a Los Angeles hospital on the evening of Wednesday, May 13, 2026.

He resided in the Montrose area since the early 90s and lived previously in Glendale and Los Angeles. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Remedios “Remy"/"Bebot” Quito and his children, Carmelo and Ritzel.

His musical hobbies included singing, most frequently with church choirs, and playing guitar. He loved chess, was an avid reader and enjoyed watching game shows and solving Sudoku puzzles. He liked fine food and travel with his wife.

A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, May 30th at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Montrose:

10:00 AM  Mass

Service will proceed to Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale (Arlington Rd. and Cathedral Dr.) after the mass.
