Cecilia Militante

Cecilia Militante, affectionately known as Chicelle, was born on July 23, 1965, in Manila, Philippines. With a life defined by strength and resilience, she fought bravely against ovarian cancer for five years, demonstrating unwavering courage and a god-fearing spirit until her passing on November 13, 2024, in Northridge, California.

Chicelle's personality was a remarkable blend of warmth and determination. She welcomed everyone into her life with open arms and a warm smile, earning her the love and respect of many who were fortunate enough to know her. Friends and family alike admired her strong-willed nature, which shone brightly in every aspect of her life.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Bhobbit Militante; her loving daughter, Diana Militante; her cherished sisters, Regina Papa and Cristina Miranda; and her supportive brothers, Raul Jr. Soriano and Benjamin III Soriano.

Chicelle was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Raul Soriano and Virginia Pelaez, as well as her brother, Eric Soriano.

Her legacy of love and strength will remain in the hearts of all who knew her. Family and friends are invited to celebrate her life and memory during the visitation services scheduled for November 23 and November 24, 2024, at Forest Lawn - Glendale, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM each day. A funeral service will honor her life on November 26, 2024, beginning at 1:30 PM at the Church of the Recessional, also located at Forest Lawn - Glendale.

Chicelle's journey may have come to an end, but the impact she made on the lives of those around her will endure forever. She is deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her family and friends.
