Catherine Marie Reuter

Catherine Marie Reuter passed away Wednesday, January 27, in Medford Oregon. She was the devoted wife of the late Charles L. Reuter, to whom she was married for 56 years.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, on November 18, 1919, Cassie was the daughter of the late Frederick and Katherine Bausch, sister of the late Louise Lotz and John, Frederick, and Otto Bausch. She grew up in Philadelphia and, in recent years, lived in Medford, Oregon.

A three time breast cancer survivor, she showed great strength and courage while overcoming this disease.

She enjoyed needle work, reading, any kind of chocolate, homemaking and, most of all, spending time with her cherished family. Cassie was the loving mother of Kathleen L. Posen and her husband, Harlan, of Medford, OR and Karen L. Rountree and her husband, Dave, of North Attleboro, MA. She was the grandmother of Mark D. Posen, Kristen M. Rountree, Amy S. Grove and Kelly B. Rountree. She was great grandmother to Charles and Samuel Posen and to Kevin and Ryan Grove.

Services will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, February 12, at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, 6300 Forest Lawn Drive, Los Angeles, CA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, alz.org.
