Catherine (Casimiera)Theresa Dowling, 96, born on October 4,1917 in Waterbury CT, passed away on November 26, 2013. Catherine lived her life and raised her family in Connecticut prior to moving to Cathedral City in the Palm Springs area of California where she resided for the last 13 years. Wife of the late James Dowling, loving Mother of Suzanne Onofrio and Richard Dowling, both of Rancho Mirage, California, and Robert Dowling of East Haven, Connecticut. She leaves behind 5 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren. Catherine was a wonderful loving lady who loved life and loved to laugh. She had a kind soul and found the best in every situation she encountered. Our loving Mother will live in our hearts forever and she will be deeply missed. We have a special Angel in Heaven to watch over us. Private arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn, Cathedral City, CA.
