Carol Marie Mtezger, 75, born on April 14, 1940, in Philadelphia, PA, passed away May 28, 2015. She resided in San Diego, CA at the time of her passing. Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn Cathedral City, CA. Carol graduated from Trenton State College of NJ in 1962, and taught music for 10 years. She joined the National Park Service as a Ranger,serving in Independence Hall Philadelphia and then at Carlsbad Caverns and lastly at Joshua Tree National Park. She was devoted parishioner of the Episcopal Church in Cathedral city and at St. Margaret's in San Diego and a featured soloist. She will be sorely missed by her brothers: Robert and Frank Metzger and by her sister Anne Stornelli and by her step-daughter, Rachel Cook and grand-daughter, Olivia.
