Carol (vose) Grant

Atkinson, NH: Carol (Vose) Grant, 72, died peacefully Monday evening at her home, with her loving husband by her side.

Born, raised and educated in Haverhill, MA, daughter of the late Ralph and Edith (Smith) Vose, she was a member of the Haverhill High School Class of 1961.
A former member of the Rainbow Girls, she was employed for twenty-nine years as a customer service representative for Comcast.

A devoted wife, mother and grandmother, Mrs. Grant was a resident of Atkinson for the last twenty-two years. She enjoyed trips to the coast of Maine, traveling to visit her children and grandchildren, and shopping, which was one of the last activities that she enjoyed in the company of her husband.

She is sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband of fifty-three years, Daniel W. Grant, Jr., a son and daughter-in-law, Daniel W. III and Susan Grant of Austin, Texas, a daughter and son-in-law Cathi and Jack Lampron of North Andover, MA, a brother John Vose, of South Carolina, and a sister Cathy Karolow of Bradford, MA four grandchildren, Jake Lampron, Sean Lampron, Daniel J. Grant, and Samantha Grant, several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her brother Wayne Vose.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Life Celebration to be held on Friday, May 8, 2015 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St. Route 121A, Plaistow, NH. Her funeral service will take place on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home with burial to follow in Maplewood Cemetery.
