Carol C. (bocuzzo) Cairns

Plaistow, NH: Carol C. (Bocuzzo) Cairns, 66, a resident of Plaistow since 1979 and a former resident of Haverhill from 1964 to 1979, died on September 20, 2014 in Rochester, NH.

Born in Haverhill, daughter of the late Kenneth and Evelyn (Jinks) Bocuzzo, she attended Haverhill public schools until moving to Newton with her family, where she graduated from Sanborn Regional High School.

Mrs. Cairns was employed in quality control for Agfa in North Andover, from where she retired after fifteen years. She had also been employed for Gould Inc., Savoy Leather, and AT&T Technologies. She also worked as a hairdresser for many years.

A devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Mrs. Cairns was a member of the Plaistow Fish and Game Women's Auxiliary. She enjoyed playing the lottery, camping, traveling, boating, motor cycling, and taking trips to Foxwoods. She also enjoyed collecting and wearing hats of various styles and colors.

She is survived by her husband of forty-five years, Frank W. Cairns, a son Kenneth P. Cairns of Holbrook, MA, two daughters, Cheryl A. St. Louis of Plaistow, and Tammy R. Peters and her husband Mark of Raymond, NH, seven grandchildren, Kenneth A. Cairns, Jessica C. Cairns. Justin S. Cairns, Amanda D. Cairns, Kyle P. Cairns, Shane P. Cairns, and Michael R. St. Louis, four great grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Carol's Life Celebration on Thursday, September 25, 2014 from 4:30 to 7:15 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main Street, Route 121A, Plaistow, NH.
