Carol Baker was born in Fargo, ND to Carl and Kathryn Wesch. Carol Spent her early years in North Dakota and Minnesota and graduated high school in Benson Minnesota. She earned a degree in nursing at the University of Minnesota. Carol then moved to Southern California where she met Brydon Baker Jr. (Don); they married in 1948. They were blessed with two children, Brydon III, and Carla. Don died in 1978 and Carol spent her time earning a BA in Medical Sociology. This led to volunteering at Northridge hospital for 36 years. Carol is survived by her two children and grandchildren, Rebecca and Brydon IV.
She enjoyed traveling and toured many continents. She was an active member of Calvary Lutheran Church since 1960 and considered the members her second family. Carol rests next to her husband at Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills.
