Carmelita Caparoso Macapagal

Carmelita Caparoso Macapagal was born on November 21, 1942, in Manila, Philippines to Hilario and Angeles. She was the oldest of 4 siblings (Gloria, Jamie, and Larry.) She made innumerable sacrifices to immigrate her whole family to the United States. Carmelita and her late husband, Renato, traveled to many countries and worked tirelessly to provide for their family. She earned her college education at José Rizal University in the Philippines and worked as an accountant. Carmelita retired from United Healthcare where she dedicated 15+ years of work. Carmelita loved the Lord and devoted herself to prayer and worship; she even made a pilgrimage to the Holy Land. She fought a long battle with Parkinson's Disease and Congestive Heart Failure. She outlived her initial diagnosis and then joined her Heavenly Father on January 11, 2023, weeks after she celebrated her 80th birthday. Carmelita is survived by her children; son Rico, daughter-in-law Jane, daughter Rena, son-in-law Colin, daughter Rochelle and son-in-law Johnny. She also leaves behind her dearly loved grandchildren; Ally, Andy, Kal, Zoey, Roman and Quinn.
