Carlos "Benjie" Aspacio Quisisem, 69, joined our Lord peacefully on February 19, 2022, with his wife Nancy and sister-in-law at his bedside at their home in Rancho Cucamonga after a long battle of renal failure and Parkinson's disease.
He is predeceased by his parents Jesus and Levita Quisisem.
Carlos is survived by his wife, Nancy Asistin Quisisem, his sister Rosula Estacio, cousins, nephews, nieces, sisters and brothers-in-laws'.
Carlos was born on February 13, 1953, in Caoayan, Ilocos Sur.
Graduated Salutatorian in high school at Divine Word college in Vigan. He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering at Mapua Institute of Technology in Manila and passed the board the same time in 1974.
He worked as a mechanical engineer with PDAP and the Development Bank of the Philippines. He married Nancy his college sweetheart in 1980 and joined her in America in 1982, eventually making their home in Los Angeles and Rancho Cucamonga, California.
He was employed at Southern California Edison and Reliant Energy where he worked as an Instrumentation Specialist and retired in 2016. He received several awards and certifications of accomplishments during his tenure.
He will be remembered for his kindness, thoughtfulness, and generosity. He was an active participant in many organizations and loved to read, travel, and play mahjong with his loved ones. Benjie will forever be remembered with a smile and funny delivery of his "ERAP' jokes.
His simplest pleasure in life is his devotion to his wife, family, and friends.
We will strive to live life to the fullest, and to honor his memory with his courageous battle against Kidney failure and Parkinson's.
