Carlos is survived by his wife, Josephine Fiñones Feria; his sons, John Joseph and Charles Patrick; his siblings, Pacita (husband, Somnuk Dechobhol), Erlinda, Maria (husband, Juanito Balantac), Celerina, Julia, Hermes (husband, Johny Tutop), Marcelo (wife, Maria Lourdes Suque), and Josefina (husband, Archimedes Meneses); his nieces and nephews; his mother-in-law, Lourdes Fiñones Feria; many other relatives/extended family; and his cat, Blackie.
Carlos was preceded in death by his mother, Olimpia Mendoza Aragon; his father, Juan Vidad Capitulo; his brother, Cenon; his three sisters; and his brother-in-law, Hermogenes Pacada (Erlinda's late husband).
