Carlos E. Baldenegro

Carlos E. Baldenegro, 80, of Rosemead, died peacefully in his sleep Tuesday May 27, 2014.

He was born to the late Carlos & Maria Baldenegro, December 28, 1933, in Nogales, AZ. Carlos graduated from Nogales High School in 1954 and received a BS in Physical Education from Northern Arizona University in 1958, two Master Degrees from Arizona State University in Secondary Education and Spanish in 1964-65. He married the late Alicia Baldenegro in 1963 and they lived together in Brawley, CA. before relocating to the San Gabriel Valley in 1968.

Carlos was a Guidance Counselor at Mark Keppel High School for 33 years until he retired in 2005. He was passionate about making a difference in the lives of his students. He was inducted into the Nogales High School Hall of Fame in 2009.

Carlos was an active member of the Moose Lodge in Rosemead serving as Jr. Governor and Governor. He enjoyed traveling and visiting family and friends in California, Arizona, and Mexico.

Carlos is survived by four children, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, five grandchildren, six siblings, & a legion of nieces & nephews.

A Catholic Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, June 6th at 10:00am at St. Robert Bellarmine Church in Burbank.

That same evening, a prayer service and viewing is scheduled for Friday, June 6th, 6-9pm (Rosary reading at 7pm) at Forest Lawn - Hollywood Hills in their Church of the Hills.

The Funeral Liturgy will be Saturday, June 7th, 12:30pm at the same location at Forest Lawn
