Carlene A. Clement

Raymond, NH:  Carlene A. (Curtin) Clement, 66, of Raymond, NH, died Wednesday, April 17, 2013, at her home,surrounded by her family.

 Born in Lynn, MA, daughter of the late William and Rebecca “Grace” (Murray) Curtin, she was raised and attended school in Lynn, MA. She first worked for Lynn Hospital as a messenger and Aide and later worked providing housekeeping services for private homes and also as a waitress and cashier at a local restaurant.

Mrs. Clement enjoyed being a mother to her four sons and taking trips to the mountains.  She also enjoyed karate, dancing, especially the jitterbug, and singing with her family, and roller skating in her younger years.  She also served as a cub scout leader and den master when her children were young.

The widow of Robert Clement, she is survived by four sons and daughters-in-law, Kenneth L. and Mari Ramsdell of Manchester, Edward C. and Heidi Ramsdell of Raymond, Daniel C. and Sue Lennon of Raymond and James D. Lennon of Raymond; a brother, William C. Curtin, Jr. of E. Hampstead; eight sisters, Grace “Bunny” Lennon of Florida, Charlotte Duquette of Newmarket, Linda Curtin of Newton, Mary Hannon of Plaistow, Karen Mills of Hillsboro, Deborah Smart of Danville, Madalyn Drew of Kingston and Micheline Albright of Amesbury; ten grandchildren, five great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may call on Sunday, April 21, 2013, from 2 to 5 PM at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Route 121A, (Plaistow Village), Plaistow, NH.  A service of remembrance will follow at 5:15 PM at the funeral home.
