Byung Jun Yang, 양병준

Byung Jun Yang, a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother, passed away on February 18, 2024. He was born on March 4, 1952, in Namwon, South Korea. Byung Jun was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in early 2022 and displayed immense strength and courage throughout his battle. Despite undergoing major surgery and facing complications, he fought with unwavering resilience.

On the morning of February 18, 2024, at St Jude Hospital in Fullerton, surrounded by his cherished family members - his two devoted sons, caring daughter-in-law, and supportive brother from Iowa - Byung Jun peacefully departed from this world.

Byung Jun leaves behind a legacy of love and warmth that will forever be remembered by those who had the privilege of knowing him. His wife, Jin Sook Kwon; sons Seungchul Yang and Woochul Yang; daughter-in-law Jesica Yoon; grandson Philip Yang; granddaughter Katherine Yang; along with his brother from Iowa Byung Yoon Yang, and his in-laws Kyung Lee, Leandro Yoon, Eunji Yoon, and Michelle Yoon mourn his loss deeply.

A Funeral Service to honor and celebrate the beautiful life of Byung Jun Yang will be held at Forest Lawn - Glendale - Church of the Recessional in CA on March 22, 2024. It will be a time for family and friends to come together to pay their respects to a remarkable individual who touched the lives of many.

Byung Jun's kindness, wisdom, and love will continue to inspire all those who were fortunate enough to have known him. May he rest in eternal peace knowing that he was cherished beyond words and will be dearly missed but never forgotten.

남원에서 1952년 3월 4일 이 세상으로 오셨습니다. 

2022년 췌장암 진단을 받으시고, 큰 수술과 다양한 합병증에 직면하셨음에두 불구하고, 마지막 순간까지 굴하지 않는 강인함을 보여주셨습니다.

2024년 3월 22일 오후 2시 30 분에 Glendale 에 위치한 Forest Lawn 에서, 양병준님의 숭고한 삶을 기리는 장례식이 엄수될 예정입니다.

가족과 친인들이 한자리에 모여, 우리 삶에 남기신 빛나는 흔적을 기억하며 소중한 시간이 될것입니다.

모든 순간들이 소중한 기억으로 남아, 우리 마음속에서 잊혀지지 않을것입니다.

영혼이 평화롭게 쉬기를 바라며, 영원히 저희 마음속에 간직하겠습니다.
