Plaistow, NH: Bryan W. Young, 57, a resident of Plaistow for the last thirty-two years, died on March 22, 2016 at his home surrounded by his family following a long illness.

Born in Lowell, MA, son of the late Leo and Florence (Boucher) Young, he was raised in Dracut and graduated from Dracut High School with the Class of 1977. Bryan was employed as a service representative for Hill-Rom Company in Hooksett for twenty-two years.

A member of the Country Pond Fish and Game Club, Bryan coached flag football, Little League Baseball, and girls' basketball for many years. He was an avid Red Sox fan and outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and hiking along the Kangamangus Highway. Bryan also enjoyed playing golf, poker and cribbage.

He is survived by his wife of thirty-three years, Laurie L. (Heartquist) Young, a son Brandon J. Young of Plaistow, a daughter and son-in-law, Kristen (Young) and John Treacy of Manchester, NH, two brothers, Leo Young, Jr. of Lowell, MA, and Roger Young of Manchester, NH, a sister, Phyllis McCarthy of Dracut, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Richard Young, and his sister, Loretta Young.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Bryan's Life Celebration on Friday, March 25 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main Street, Plaistow, NH.
