Bruce Michael Bridenball

Bruce Michael Bridenball of La Habra was born in Kansas City, Missouri and spent his early childhood years in Kansas City as well as Ogden, Utah and Denver, Colorado before returning to Kansas City to attend Ruskin Heights High School. Bruce graduated with a BS degree in Geology from the University of Kansas becoming a very devoted, lifelong Jayhawk. He was employed as a sports writer for newspapers in Iowa and Kansas before becoming Public Relations Manager at the Kansas City office of Panhandle Eastern Pipeline Company and later serving as a Gas Supply Contract Analyst for Panhandle in Liberal, Kansas and Kansas City. After his years with Panhandle, Bruce worked in Southern California for more than one of his brother's business ventures.

Bruce was married to Judy Ann Wells of Prairie Village, Kansas in 1961 and later to Pamela Strada Smith of Kansas City in 1976. He was preceded in death by his Mother, Mary Elizabeth (Peggy) Jackman Syvinski, Father, Blaine J. Bridenball, sister, Peggy Coleman Johnston, and brother David Syvinski. Survived by a son, Blaine Bridenball, brothers, Stuart & Steve Bridenball, step-son Howard C. Smith III, grandson, Cooper Bridenball and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Bruce will forever be remembered for his love for and loyalty to his family, quick wit, and passion for his sports teams.

Services are Saturday, January 20, 8:30 am, at Forest Lawn in Cypress, CA. Memorial contributions may be made to The Alzheimer's Association of Orange County. A future memorial service will be held in the Kansas City area.
