Bridget Miriam Tambio, 73, passed away peacefully in her sleep April 7, 2026. Born March 11, 1953, in Lakewood, CA, Bridget lived her entire life in southern California. A devout Christian, Bridget embodied Jesus’ command to love her neighbor (even while being a true introvert).
She showed kindness and a humble willingness to help at every job, taking pleasure in the types of tasks others might find tedious (albeit necessary) like balancing debits and credits. She imparted a lifetime of love and wisdom to her family, especially her two children. Though she fought Multiple System Atrophy (MSA) for 10 years, her spirit never wavered. She laughed with her family until the very end.
Bridget is survived by her children, Daniel Bassett and Megan Tambio; and two sisters, Tracy Hamilton and Robin Parks. The family will host a funeral service on April 23 at Forest Lawn in Cypress.
