Brenda Erickson, a beloved mother, wife, daughter, sister, and friend, left this world on January 29, 2026, at the age of 57. Born on December 30, 1968, Brenda was a shining light in the lives of all who knew her. Her unwavering love for her family was evident in everything she did, and she cherished her roles as a loving wife to Gary and as a devoted mother to Brittany, Bridget, and Kyle.

Brenda was known for her incredible warmth and kindness, she will always be an amazing mother and a guiding light for her children. Her personality was filled with laughter and joy; she had an innate ability to create a fun atmosphere wherever she went. Celebrating life with friends and family was a passion and there will be memories for all of us to cherish for a lifetime. Instilling this love in all of us came naturally. Brenda was not just wonderful to be around, she was infectious. 

She was a true enthusiast of the outdoors and had a profound love for Mother Earth and nature. Sharing this love of the outdoors with all she encountered. Brenda found solace and exhilaration in camping and hikes at the beach and the mountains. She often said, music is the soundtrack to one's life and soul, and Brenda's love for all genres of music, concerts and live music personified her very being. She was also an avid reader and researcher, continually seeking knowledge and sharing it with those she loved. Her culinary skills were commendable, and she was often celebrated by her family and friends for being a great cook, creating memorable meals for the holidays, gatherings, and BBQ's that will be cherished for years to come.

Brenda is survived by her loving husband, Gary; her cherished daughters, Brittany and Bridget; her son, Kyle; her mother, Betty Dean; her sisters, Patricia, Kerrie, and Cathy; her brother Johnny; her sons-in-law, Bill McGrail and Nicholas Davis; and her daughter-in-law, Emma Cole. She is preceded in death by her father, Donald Dean.

Friends, family, and all whose lives Brenda touched are invited to celebrate her remarkable life at the Funeral Service held on February 23, 2026, at Forest Lawn – Hollywood Hills – Old North Church in Los Angeles, California. The service will begin at 12:00 PM, concluding at 1:00 PM.

Brenda’s legacy of love, laughter, and kindness will continue to resonate in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
