Bonny Ekel, 42, born on January 20, 1982 in Jakarta, Indonesia. He passed away September 07, 2024.
His father was Bobby Albert Ekel and his mother Nina Esther Soepryadi. He spent most of his childhood in Redlands, California. There, he developed a lifelong passion for baseball and a natural athleticism.
Bonny loved making friends from all walks of life. His charm, sense of humor, and intelligence made a lasting impression with everyone he encountered. He loved making people laugh and listening to other people’s stories.
He had three sons, Malachi Ekel and Bryce Ekel and Brendon. He spent his days focusing on becoming a better person each day for his boys. His faith grew over the years, and he loved sharing God’s word with those around him. He had compassion towards those struggling and brought them closer to God.
Bonny is survived by his mom, Nina Soepriyadi; his children, Bryce and Malachi as well as his siblings Soddy, Monica and Nasha.
