Bonnie Bell Volta, 82, of Rancho Cucamonga, CA was called peacefully to her heavenly home on Wednesday, February 26, 2025 in Ontario, CA.

A beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, Bonnie dedicated her life to the love and care of her family and the many children she looked after through her 15+ years of work as a child care provider.

Born on June 1, 1942 in Bridgeport, NE to Albert and Mary Anabel West, she was the oldest of four siblings. At the age of 13 years, she moved with her family to Oregon where she spent the next twenty-two years. Bonnie attended Springfield High School where she met her high school sweetheart, Roger. They were married just weeks after her graduation in 1960. They remained together for thirteen years and together grew their family to include 3 daughters, Cynthia, Debra, and Julia. In 1976, she married Anthony Volta and shortly thereafter they moved to California. They purchased a home in Rancho Cucamonga, CA where they spent 32 wonderful and happy years together before Anthony's passing in 2008. Bonnie continued to live in the home they had created together.

Bonnie is survived by her three daughters; Cynthia Miller of California, Debra Volta of Idaho, Julia (Israel) Hernandez of California; five grandchildren; Joshua Miller of Arizona, Justin Merrill of Idaho, Patrick (Leidy) Hernandez, Brittany Levy, and Jacob Hernandez all of California; two great-grandchildren; Ian and Sophie; A brother; Vern West of Oregon, and several other extended family.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony Volta; her parents, Albert and Mary Anabel West; two grandchildren, Brandon Miller and Heidi Merrill; her sister, Merna Hunter; and her brother, Ronald West.

Forest Lawn Memorial Park- Covina Hills

Interment- Radiance

Arrangements are under the care of Forest Lawn, Covina Hills, CA.

Her daughters would like to thank the Inland Christian Home SNF staff who participated in the care and support that was given to our mother while at your facility. We would especially like to thank Imelda, Carmen, Carolyn, and Laura for going above and beyond. It was a pleasure to get to know such wonderful and caring people!
