Bonifacio Bagatt, Jr., known for his dedication to his family and his long-standing career at Jardin Davies, suddenly passed away on February 8, 2024. Born in the Philippines on April 10, 1941, Bonifacio later pursued a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Feati University. His journey led him to California in 1985, where he built a life filled with love and cherished moments.
In his 20 years at Jardin Davies, Bonifacio exemplified commitment and hard work. However, beyond his professional life, he will be remembered most for his unwavering love and care for his family. Even at the age of 82, he continued to prioritize his wife Vivian's well-being, demonstrating a profound level of devotion that touched the hearts of those around him.
Those who knew Bonifacio recognized him as a quiet, caring, and giving man whose presence brought comfort and warmth to all who crossed his path. His kind nature extended not only to his immediate family but also to friends and colleagues who had the privilege of knowing him.
Outside of work, Bonifacio found solace in simple pleasures - particularly fishing. It was during these fishing trips that he formed lasting bonds with his son, passing on his passion for the sport and creating memories that will be treasured for generations to come. Fishing became more than a hobby; it symbolized the deep love he held for his family.
Bonifacio is survived by his beloved wife Vivian, two children Maritess and Michael, and five grandchildren - Brandon, Casey, Ally, Aiden, and Mason. His legacy lives on through them as they carry forward the values he instilled in them through a lifetime of love and dedication.
A visitation will be held on March 16, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM followed by a Funeral Service at Forest Lawn - Covina Hills - Tribute Center in Covina, California (21300 Via Verde Drive). The service will commence at 2:30 PM to honor and celebrate the life of Bonifacio Bagatt Jr., a remarkable man whose memory will forever hold a special place in the hearts of those who knew him.
In honoring Bonifacio's memory, let us cherish the moments shared with him and hold dear the values he embodied throughout his life. May he rest in peace knowing that his love continues to live on through those who were touched by his kindness and generosity.
