Bonifacio Rubia Amargo, 84, born on June 5, 1937, in Philippines, passed away July 26, 2021. He joined the US Navy in 1958, served and received citations for good conduct. Retired in 1978. In 1980 he moved his family to the Philippines a few years after his retirement. In the 1980's he returned to the US and began working for the LA county Sheriff's Department in which he also retired in 2004. He is survived by his spouse Virginia and 3 children and 5 grandchildren.He resided in Long Beach, CA at the time of his passing. Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn, Cypress, California.
