Bobbie N. Hicks

Bobbie N. Hicks, 85, was born on October 15, 1937, in Tallulah, LA, She was the sixth child of seven born to M.D. & Clara (Powell) Turnage, She is survived by her children Teresa (Bob) Vaughn and Rodney (Karen) Hicks, Her grandchildren, Alissa Vaughn, Ashley Vaughn, Austin (Kayla) Hicks, Shawn Hicks, Bryan (Theresa) Vaughn, and Bradley (Sara) Vaughn, her Great-Grandchildren, Elizabeth, Hailey, Warren Jr., Savannah and Shyann, her sister, Hattie Rossi residing in Collegeville, PA and her younger brother Marvin (Bud) Turnage from Santa Fe Springs, CA, as well as two sisters-in-law, Kathryn Waddell and Linda (Bob) Adrian, along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and life long friends. she was preceded in death by husband Tom, her brothers Garland, Joe Ben and sisters Helen (Ball), and Inez (Glenn). Bobbie graduated from Bellflower High School, Bellflower, CA in 1956. she married Thomas R Hicks in July 1956, they were married 64 years before Tom's death in December 2020, and they made their home in Fountain Valley, CA Bobbie retired from Hughes Aircraft in November 1996. Bobbie passed away on December 5, 2022. She resided in Mission Viejo, CA at the time of her passing. A Celebration of Life Service will be on Friday, January 20th at 11:30 am at the Patriots Chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn, 4471 Lincoln Avenue, Cypress, California.
