Bob Wayne Mcclure

Bob McClure, 78, of Indio, Calif., passed away on November 6, 2014. He was born in Strafford, Okla. on March 28, 1936 to Dick and Elma McClure. He served in the United States Army as a Military Police. He loved horses and country music. He was a member of the Indio Mounted Posse. He worked for Granite Construction Company as a heavy duty mechanic. He is survived by his wife of 50 years Frances; sons, Steve (Alisa), Richard (Kim); grandchildren, Nicole, Brooke, Bradley and Chloe; great-grandson, Jackson; sister, Betty Shelman of Tucson, Ariz.; brother, Jim (Sue) from Tucson; many nieces and nephews also from Tucson; and his buddy, Dan Giquox. He was a wonderful man and he will be missed by everyone that knew him. We would like to thank everyone at Gentiva Hospice. Services will be held privately. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2014 from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Coronado Gardens, 47795 Calle Fiesta, Indio, CA 92201. Forest Lawn Memorial Parks & Mortuaries.
