The family of Blanche Alexander Hicken regretfully annouce her passing following a brief illness. A long time resident of Pasadena, she was pre-deceased by her son, Robert in 1978 and her husband Quentin in 2013.
She will be remembered as a loving sister to Dorothy DeRosa of La Canada, and wonderful aunt to her 5 nieces and 3 nephews.
Born in Oceanside, CA and raised in San Diego she enjoyed traveling in R.V. with her husband and was a devoted animal lover to her many kitties.
Her hobbies included square dancing and gardening.
Services will be held at the Wee Kirk o' the Heather at Forest Lawn, Glendale on Thursday, November 20th at 1:30 p.m. There will be a viewing on Monday, November 17th at 2:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn.
