Birax Porichis, known affectionately as Elbis, has left an indelible mark on the hearts and minds of all who knew her. She was a beacon of love, joy, and togetherness, cherishing every moment spent with her family. Her untiring efforts to bring everyone together will forever be etched in our memories.

Born on November 23rd, 1947, in Aleppo, Syria, Elbis embodied the values of kindness, generosity, and positivity throughout her life. She possessed an incredible sense of humor that could uplift even the gloomiest of spirits. Her warm and welcoming nature made her a beloved member of her community and endeared her to all who had the pleasure of crossing paths with her.

Elbis held an unwavering belief in the potential for self-improvement and always encouraged others to better themselves. Whether it was by offering a word of advice or lending a helping hand, she consistently sought ways to uplift those around her. A charitable and compassionate soul, Elbis gave freely from her heart and embraced opportunities to make a difference in the lives of others.

On October 27th, 2023, we bid farewell to Birax Porichis in Glendale, California. She leaves behind a legacy defined by her devotion to family and a vibrant spirit that touched countless lives. We remember fondly the laughter shared during family gatherings as she delighted in the company of her cherished siblings Berjouhi, Eman, Zohrab, Kevork, Zareh, Hrach, Berge, as well as her adoring parents Yeghisapet and Ohannes.

In adding to Elbis' beautiful tapestry of life are Georgios Porichis, her loving husband; Rosita, John, Richard - her devoted children; Gonzalo Jaramillo, Taline Porichis, and Agnieszka Porichis - her beloved son-in-law and daughters-in-law; Talinn, Samantha, Eleni, and Zoï - her adored granddaughters. Their lives have been forever enriched by Elbis' unwavering love and guidance.

In this time of sorrow, let us also celebrate the moments of joy shared with Birax as we gather to pay tribute to her incredible life. The Funeral Service will be held on November 16th, 2023, from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Forest Lawn - Hollywood Hills - Church of the Hills in Los Angeles, California. This serenely beautiful location at 6300 Forest Lawn Drive shall provide solace as we bid our final farewells to our beloved Elbis.

The impact left by Elbis Porichis is immeasurable. Her infectious spirit will continue to resonate within the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to have known her. Though she has departed from our physical realm, her memory will forever be cherished, and her love will endure through the lives she touched.

May Elbis' soul find eternal peace as we honor her extraordinary journey filled with love, laughter, and unwavering compassion.
