He served 20 years in the Marine Corps. Achieving the rank of Gunnery Sargent serving in Korea and two tours of duty in Viet Nam. Also worked as a diesel mechanic for 23 years. Beloved husband of Ethel M. Wofford. Loving father of Debra L. (William) Kuffer, The late William G. Wofford (Catherine Turney), and Anna K. Kuegeler. Much loved grandfather of Elijah, Sarah, Rebekah, William, Eleanor, Bonnie, Steven, Michelle, Carla and Gabriele. Great grandfather of Emily, Rebekah, Elijah, Kyah, Kali, David, Jaclyn, Daniel, Elizabeth, Nathaniel, Alyson, Evaline, Winston, Tristen, Gabriel, Gavin, Lyndon, Nehria, Ayva Jayne.
