Billy Gene Walker

Bill G Walker, 82 of Cerritos, CA. Passed away on Wed. April 20th, 2022 at his home.
Bill was born on April 23, 1939 in Duluth Minnesota. The son of Paul Walker and Ann Marie
(Rich) Walker of Duluth Minnesota.
Bill went to school in Duluth Minnesota and was then enlisted into the United States Marine
Corps and served a 3 year term.
Bill married Ruth Hiffernan on July 2, 1965 in Culver City, California.
He had a few jobs before getting hired at Calcor Space facility where they made Pylon parts for
the airlines.
Bill loved his family and did many things with them. He loved working in his yard to make it
perfect. One of his most treasured times was watching his grandchildren play their sports.
Bill is survived by his wife Ruth Hiffernan Walker of Cerritos. Two daughters and Son in law,
Debbie & Claudio Balboa of Norwalk and Kelli Lilavois of Cerritos. Four grandchildren, and two
great grandchildren. One brother James Walker of Cerritos and one sister Sharon Walker of
Camarillo, CA. As well as several nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his parents and brother Joey Walker and sister in law Mary.
Bill's family would like to thank the staff of reliable hospice for the outstanding care he received.
