Billie Marlene Gomez

March 20, 1951 — March 27, 2013

Billie Marlene Gomez, 62, born on March 20, 1951, in the State of Wisconsin, passed away March 27, 2013. She was living in Newhall, California at the time of her passing.
Over the last year Billie battled a few hospital stays, each had her on life support. She was diagnosed with having Gallstones in May of 2012. Surgery was required and resulted in some life changing events. The first surgery turned scary, Billie contracted a bad virus that attacked her blood stream and resulted in her being put on life support. The Doctors had a very hard time getting her off the support. The second surgery 3 months later, also resulted in her being on life support however this time Billie was stronger and came off it rather easy. During the time leading up to her passing, Billie was infected with Pneumonia. And unfortunately on March 26th this condition lead to her system becoming Septic. With Billie's current health issues this was the event that would ultimately take her life.

Billie leaves behind two sisters Cathie & Cindy and three brothers Dick, Bobby & David. Billie will rest next to her youngest sister, Betty Jo Wissmann on April 12th. Billie was married to Roger Gomez for 27 years and together raised Billies three children Terry, Jeff and Shannon. Billie was also blessed with 10 grandchildren. Her love for them will never be forgotten.
