Beverly Seaman See

Beverly Seaman See, 94, born on June 23, 1921 in Kansas City, Missouri, passed away March 16, 2016. She resided in Sherman Oaks, California at the time of her passing. Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills, Los Angeles, California.

Beverly was born in Kansas City, Missouri on June 23, 1921 and passed away on March 16, 2016 in Sherman Oaks, California. She moved to the Los Angeles area with her parents Grace and Robert R. Seaman when she was two years old. She graduated from North Hollywood High School in 1939 and UCLA in 1946. She married John A. See, DDS in North Hollywood in 1948 and they were married for 57 years until his death in 2005. She had a beloved brother, Robert S. Seaman, who preceded her in death. Beverly taught kindergarten in the Los Angeles Public Schools, then became a devoted mother to her two daughters. She re-entered the work place after daughters were grown and became the office manager in her husband's dental office for 23 years.

Beverly volunteered for several educational and philanthropic organizations including the Valley University Women, San Fernando Valley Dental Auxiliary, Girl Scouts, and PTA. She and John were members of the Sherman Oaks Presbyterian Church. Her hobbies included tennis, golf, snow skiing, gardening and travel.

She is survived by daughters Susan See Elftman (Robert) and Janet See Chapman (Mark) as well as three grandchildren Robert Alan Elftman, Emily Elftman, Pharm.D, and Timothy Elftman.
