Beverly Ann Delgadillo
(Nee Beverly Ann Sowers)
Born September 26, 1982 – Died January 16, 2023

With great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Beverly Ann Delgadillo, at the age of 90. She was reunited with our beloved father and her beloved husband of 63 years, Albert Jose Delgadillo.

She is survived by her five children, Robert D. Delgadillo, Theresa J. Ramirez, Cathline C. Sunderland, Rockard J. Delgadillo and Torrance J. Delgadillo, 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Beverly was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan to Carl and Alice Sowers and moved to Los Angeles when she was 8 years old. She had one brother and six sisters.

Beverly was a wonderful mother, a fantastic homemaker, a teacher, an entrepreneur and a totally devoted wife to her husband, Mother to her children, and Grandma to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. When her children finally all flew the nest she decided to take some college courses at Glendale Community College. One of those classes was Culinary Arts, where she eventually was hired as an assistant to the professor, and worked part-time for 16 years. Beverly turned this skill into a successful catering business.

An avid baker, one of our mother's most wonderful talents was baking and decorating beautiful cakes for weddings and other special occasions!

Beverly was honored with the Legacy of Family Award, awarded by New Economics for Women in 2003.

She forever had a passion for exploration and in her later years, she and our father traveled all over the United States and across the globe, taking in some of the most famous sites of human history.

After attending her children's sporting events, she went pro and became an avid and enthusiastic Dodgers Fan, spending many an afternoon and evenings at Dodger Stadium.

Beverly will be buried at Forest Lawn in Glendale, 1712 S. Glendale Ave., Glendale, CA 91205 on February 25th at 1:30 pm, Little Church of the Flowers, followed by a "Celebration of Life" gathering at 3:00 pm at the Stadium Club, Dodger Stadium.
