Beverley P. Yeh

Beverley P. Yeh was born in Victoria, Canada in 1933. She was the youngest of 11 children born to Eng Yip Guay and Wong Jean Ho. While growing up she was an active member of the Chinese community as she was on the Victoria Chinese Drill Team and participated in the Miss Chinatown beauty pageant. After high school she went to Toronto to pursue her higher education. Her studies were interrupted when she met her future husband Paul who was just graduating with a degree in Electrical Engineering. They started their family in Canada, first with a daughter and then followed by 3 sons with the last one born in the USA when Paul's career took them to the East Coast. Eventually they settled in Southern California where Beverley was finally able to complete her higher education and earn her Master's degree from Pepperdine University. She worked her way up to Director of Financial Aid at Golden West College in Huntington Beach, CA. After taking an early retirement, she enjoyed travelling locally as well as to the far reaches of the globe visiting family and friends.

She will be missed by her surviving husband of 64 years, her four children, seven grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, two great-grandchildren (with another on the way), eight step-great grandchildren, a brother, and numerous in-laws; nieces and nephews.
