Beulah Eileen (Fry) Merrick of Reseda, CA passed from this life into eternal life on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at the age of 100 Years 6 Months and 19 Days old
.
Eileen, to all who knew her, was born August 29, 1920 to George and Mabel (Fulton) Fry in Patchinville, PA.
Eileen married Rudy Merrick in Cleveland, OH on July 10, 1944 and raised four loving sons. She was totally dedicated to her sons in all aspects of their lives.
Eileen graduated from Cherry Tree High School in Cherry Tree, PA and the Nursing School at Clearfield Hospital in Clearfield, PA. She worked as a nurse in Labor and Delivery for most of her 30 year career, save the time to raise her children and care for her ailing Father-in-Law. She has been a dedicated member of the New Life Church of Nazarene for the past 30 years.

Eileen was known to be a loving and caring individual who touched the lives of all who knew her. She was always willing to do everything possible to make people feel welcome in her home. She enjoyed travelling, crocheting, playing cards and visiting with Family and Friends. She was always a joy to be around and had an infectious laugh and a fabulous, sometimes surprising sense of humor.

Eileen was preceded in death by her Husband, Rudy Merrick; Parents, George and Mabel Fry; Sister, Mildred Kime; Brothers, George and Leland Fry; Son, George Merrick and Grandson, Rudy Merrick, Jr.

She leaves to cherish her memory: her children, Thomas O. and his wife, Mickie of Lancaster, CA; Rudy L. and his wife, Diane of Oceanside, CA; Michael P. and his wife, MaryLou of Reseda, CA; her Daughter-in-Law, Carol of Lancaster, CA; 16 Grandchildren; 22 Great Grandchildren; 6 Great, Great Grandchildren; Sister, Juanita Stockley of Indiana, PA; Sister, Eula Mae McMasters of Franklin, PA; Sister-in-Law, Margaret Fry of Kannapolis, NC; and numerous Nieces and Nephews.

A funeral service is scheduled for 9:30 am on Tuesday, May 4th at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Hollywood Hills. There will be no public viewing due to the times in which we live. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the New Life Church of Nazarene, 10650 Reseda Blvd; Porter Ranch, CA 91326 would be appreciated by the family.
