Betty T. Harrison

December 7, 1924 — March 11, 2015

Betty Tholen Harrison was born on December 7, 1924, in Los Angeles. She was greeted by her older brother, Bob. Betty was the apple of Bob's eye, and she adored him.

Betty married Ed on January 27, 1954 in Los Angeles. They were happily married for 48 years until Ed's passing in 2002.

From the time she was a little girl, Betty knew she wanted to have as many children as possible. She and Ed were blessed with 3 children: Mimi, Kathy and Teddy. She gave them a wonderful childhoo filled with fabulous vacations, and a home full of love and happy memories.

Betty and Ed traveled extensively...but there is always a little drama in life, like when their cruise ship sank en route to China! That didn't stop Betty and Ed. Six months later they were back cruising again.

It was Betty's undying faith that carried her through the death of her son Teddy, the loss of her husband, Ed, and the recent and untimely death of her daughter, Mimi. Because of her faith she knew she'd be reunited with them. Imagine the reunion they are having in heaven today!

Betty spent her later years living with her daughter, Kathy. They lunched, played Rumi cube, traveled, and visited Mimi as often as possible.

Betty was a sweet, generous, and loving woman. With her 10 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, her life was always full.

She will be deeply missed.
