Mrs. Bernice Brown, 89, of Palm Springs, CA passed away June 26, 2012 in Palm Springs, surrounded by the love of her family. She was born September 18, 1922, to Joseph and Ethel Kotz in Chicago, IL. She married Norman Brown on May 18, 1946 in Chicago. She was a member of Welwood Murray Library, Temple Isaiah Sisterhood, Na Maat, Women's American ORT and many other wonderful organizations. She is survived by spouse, Norman Brown of Palm Springs; daughter, Joy Brown Meredith of Palm Springs; sons, Joel Brown of Palm Springs and Alan Brovar of Cambria, CA; sister, Helen Golbin of Rancho Mirage, CA; grandchildren, Sara, Michael, and Patricia Meredith, all of Palm Springs; and great-grandchildren, Erika and Auna Edney. A graveside service is scheduled for July 2, 2012 at 9:30 a.m. at Desert Memorial Park, in Cathedral City, CA. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation Bikur Cholim of Palm Springs.
