"NO MORE SUFFERING, NO MORE PAIN, JUST HEAVEN BOUND, IN JESUS NAME"

Belinda Carol Rougely-Greer was born to Marcellus and Essielene Rougely on March 3, 1950 in Carthage, Texas. She was the fourth child born to this union. The family moved to Palm Springs, California in the fall of 1956. Belinda was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Dennis E. and Clifton M. Rougely, one sister Lula Jean Roberts, son Calvin Neal Jr., and husband Calvin Neal Greer Sr.

She accepted Christ at an early age at First Baptist Church of Palm Springs, Ca. where she attended Sunday school and BTU in her youth. She was a member of the youth and adult choirs for many years. Belinda loved to sing and was blessed with a beautiful voice. She attended school in Palm Springs Unified School District and after graduation in 1967she was employed by GTE. She was hired as an operator IN 1968, promoted to operator services supervisor and moved to position of Facility Surveyor where she retired after 30 years of service. Belinda later pursued higher education and was certified through Compton Community College in Early Childhood Development, where she was living at that time.
Belinda was a devoted wife and she loved her family passionately.

She leaves to cherish her memory;

Three daughters, Jeanita Lewis of Desert Hot Springs, Ca; Heather Marshall (husband Dave) of Lancaster TX, and Nikki Hermeth (husband Sebastian) of Duncanville, TX.; 10 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers James Rougely of Yucca Valley, Ca., Cedric Rougely (wife Charlotte), 2 sisters Gracie Jenkins and Delphia Wright (husband Clarence) all of Cathedral City, Ca., those she shared a special bond with, along with a host of relatives and friends.
