Beatrice Ruiz Morales

Born and raised in Rivera (now Pico Rivera) California and attended Rivera School, Temple School, graduated from Whittier High School in 1953 and also attended classes at East Los Angeles College.

As an adult she also lived in Los Angeles, Adelanto, West Covina and finally Long Beach, California. 

She was an avid animal lover and loved gardening, politics, religion and religious music.  She gave up all of her secular activities such as dancing, and secular music when she became a born again Christian.  

Her travels included South Korea and Mexico and she worked many years at American Sample Company.  Later in her life she worked as a Classroom Assistant at Hooper Elementary School in Los Angeles and after retiring she worked as a caretaker for her brother Trinidad and his wife, Maura.

She was preceded in death by her two husbands Myung Duc Lee (Tony) and Jesus Morales (Jess), her father Ygnacio Ruiz, her mother, Helen Rodriguez, and her older brothers, Pedro and Trinidad. 

She is survived by her daughter, Alice Lee Ruiz and her Son, Paul Lee Ruiz, her other younger siblings Sebastian, Florence, Stephanie, Cecilia, Ramona, Ignacio, Gabriel, and Leonard, along with many nieces, and nephews.  We will certainly, miss her terribly and we will always have a space in the corner of our hearts reserved for her.
