November 19, 1992 — October 6, 2015

Beatrice Irina Urgel Regner, also known as "Abby" to her family and "Bee" to her friends, was born on November 19, 1992 in Cebu City, Philippines. She was always such a playful and happy baby! Everyone called her "baby doll" because she was so fair, chubby and super adorable as a kid. The whole family immigrated to the United States in 2003 when Beatrice was only 10 years old. She finished elementary at Mark Keppel Elementary School and middle school at Toll Middle School where she started taking an interest in music and learned how to play the guitar. She graduated high school from Clark Magnet High School. Every year she would take part in Relay For Life, which supports cancer awareness -- in fact, she had her very first public musical performance at Relay For Life on her senior year! Little did she know that she will end up on the other end of the spectrum a few years later. Music was Beatrice's ultimate passion. She wrote and arranged all her songs. She knew this was the path she wanted to pursue. She went on to obtain her Associate's Degree in Performance Vocals and Emphasis on Independent Artist at Musicians Institute in Hollywood. Shortly after graduation, Beatrice left Los Angeles and moved to Las Vegas for a change of environment, as well as to check out the music scene. She worked two jobs, one at Godiva and the other as a vocal instructor at the School of Rock Las Vegas. She loved and was so proud of her job as a music mentor to children! This was her dream job. She was always so excited whenever there was a new kid enrolled in her class. Beatrice dreamed of one day opening up her own music studio which will offer an after school program to teach kids music; hence, the experience she had at the School of Rock was very important and valuable to her.

Beatrice was an amazingly fine young lady who loved babies, puppies, pandas, sushi, Italian food, cheese, chocolate, ice cream, pastries and orange was her favorite color. She had a perfectly balanced persona -- gentle and fragile yet brave and strong, immensely talented and creative but very humble and down-to-earth, kindhearted and compassionate but no pushover. She's smart, sweet, simple, easy to please, deep, funny and beautiful! Besides her music, she was also fashionable and was good at styling hair and makeup. She also loved to bake, sketch, do arts and crafts, took awesome photos and was adept in computers. She was her own person who was never afraid of being different. Beatrice was the perfect living example of being beautiful inside and out! People were naturally drawn to her because of her warmth and sincerity plus she was the most loving and most selfless. Her smile always lit up the room. She was truly one-of-a-kind! A real gem to all her friends and family.

In late June 2015, Beatrice was diagnosed with a very rare and aggressive cancer, Hepatosplenic T-Cell Lymphoma. She stayed positive and never complained much about her situation during her entire ordeal. All she ever wanted was to get well. She strongly believed (and we all did too) that she was going to beat her horrible illness and be a survivor. After going through so much pain, medication, needles, tests and procedures, she remained courageous and unfazed always believing that the Lord will heal her. Despite all the transfusions, completing eleven doses of radiation, four cycles of chemotherapy and a stem cell transplant with a perfect donor -- our sister, Breanna, Beatrice's body succumbed to cancer and she passed away on October 6, 2015 at 7:38am -- three months after her diagnosis and after a four-month stay at the hospital.

Beatrice lived and loved well. She was already an angel walking on this earth in her mortal body. Her journey on earth is complete and her brand-new angel wings are ready. She will soar high and fly freely into the heavens where she will see the splendor of the eternal kingdom and behold God face to face! She will be sorely missed with every passing day, but all those who mourn her loss will find consolation and comfort in knowing that the Lord will one day bring us all together again.
