Barbara E. Rottschaefer

Barbara E. Rottschaefer, 89, of Palm Desert, Calif., passed away October 3, 2012 in Palm Desert. She was born July 16, 1923 to Jack McWhinney and Isabel Alexander in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. She married Robert Rottschaefer on May 30, 1967 in Las Vegas, Nev. She was a medical office supervisor for 60 years. She was a member of the Eastern Star, Pathfinders, The Garden Club of the Desert and Catholic Charities. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Robert Rottschaefer and her son, Rick Rottschaefer. She is survived by her daughters, Claudia Mooklar of Agoura, Calif., Cleora Miller of Hemet, Calif., and Suzanne Rottschaefer of Crestline, Calif.; son, John Rottschaefer of Riverside, Calif.; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Friday, October 12, 2012 at 9:30 a.m. at Forest Lawn in Cathedral City, Calif., followed by a funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Interment at Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, Calif. will take place the same day at 2:01 p.m.
