Boca Raton, FL: Barbara A. (Goudreault) (Comeau) Murray, 81, of Boca Raton, FL and former longtime resident of Haverhill, MA died on February 15, 2014.

Born, raised, and educated in Haverhill, daughter of the late George and Beatrice (Allard) Goudreault, she attended St. Joseph's Grammar School, St. James High School, and graduated from St. Anne's High School in Lawrence. Mrs. Murray worked as a facilities manager for the Directory Assistance Boston Office of New England Telephone for many years.

A member of the former St. Joseph's Parish, she was active as a member of the parish choir for many years, the Parent Teacher Council of St. Joseph's School, and also served on the Troop Committee for Troop 27 of the Boy Scouts of America. A life member of the Telephone Pioneers of America, she was a past president of the Cape Cod Council. She was a resident of Florida since 1995 and previously was a resident of South Dennis, MA for fourteen years. She enjoyed scrapbooking and crafts, cooking, and was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.

She is survived by her husband, George P. Murray, four sons, David G. Comeau and his wife Donna of East Longmeadow, MA, Gary J. Comeau of Atkinson, NH, Stephen J. Comeau and his partner Dr. Susan Saferstein of South Burlington, VT, Richard G. Comeau and his wife Alison Malkin of Bedford, MA, a brother George V. Goudreault of Mashpee, MA, seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her former husband, George A. Comeau, her daughter, Diane M. Comeau, and her sister, Helen Godfrey.

Relatives and friends may call on Friday, February 21, 2014 from 9:15 to 11:00 a.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main Street, Route 121A, Plaistow, NH. Her funeral will begin on Friday at 11 a.m. from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial at 12 noon at All Saints Church, 120 Bellevue Avenue, Haverhill, MA. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Haverhill. Memorial donations may be made to the Diane M. Comeau Memorial Fund for Research, c/o National CFIDS Foundation, 103 Aletha Road, Needham, MA 02492.
