Barbara Grimes, 77, of Prineville, OR passed away on May 4, 2012 in Indio, CA of natural causes. She was born August 20, 1934 to Charles and Lucille Kelsoe in Marshall, TX. She married John Grimes on May 22, 1955 in Prineville, OR. She was a homemaker for 55 years. She was a member of Indian Palms Women's Golf, Desert Sunbirds and Desert Foxes. She is survived by her husband, John Grimes, son Mark Grimes and daughter-in-law, Mary Jo Grimes, from Prineville, OR. Grandson, Jameson Grimes of Tumalo, OR. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents. Private services will be held by the family. Prineville Funeral Home in Prineville, OR is in charge of arrangements. The family suggests that donations be made to John F. Kennedy Memorial-ICU and Indio Fire and Rescue. Forest Lawn Indio, Indio, CA.
