Barbara Lillian Glezen

Barbara Lillian Glezen, 89, of Stonington, Maine passed away on October 29, 2018 in Glendale, California.

Funeral services will be held 12:30 PM Saturday, November 3, 2018 at Church of the Hills with Dr. James Schultz of Atwater Village Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery. Arrangements are by Forest Lawn Mortuary, Hollywood Hills.

Barbara was born in Huntington, New York to Joseph and Vera Baumer on March 1, 1929. After graduating from Huntington High School she attended a secretarial college in Florida and then worked for a New York City construction company for a year before marrying William (Bill) H. Glezen on December 23, 1950 in Pascagoula, Mississippi. After marrying she became a full time mother and homemaker devoted to her husband and children. She was a proud member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and loved travelling, bowling, golfing, dining out and watching Tom Brady and the Patriots win.

Barbara is preceded in death by her parents Joe and Vera Baumer and by her husband Bill Glezen.

Barbara will be forever remembered by her children Carl (Denise), Barbara (Tom) McIntyre and Jonathan (Sandra), by her sister Joyce (Tom) Cheetham, by her grandchildren David, Amy (Janick), Scott, Dillon, Anya and Natalie, and by her great grandchildren Alek, Jensen and Dean. Barbara will also be forever remembered by her extended family and dear friends.
