Barbara Ann Carey

Barbara Ann Carey, 70, born on November 21, 1943 in New Kensington, Pennsylvania, passed away November 18, 2014. She resided in Oceanside, California, at the time of her passing. Her mother was June Doris Carey (deceased) and father Delbert Moyer. She was raised by her maternal grandparents, Alex M and Margaret Hanna Carey (deceased). She moved to California in 1975 and retired from NEC (National Education Corporation) in Long Beach, CA as a Medical Educator. Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn, Cypress, California.

Barbara requested that FLOWERS NOT be sent but rather that DONATIONS be made to the following Ministries because "(13) For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. (14) How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? Barbara let everyone know about Jesus Christ, Her heart's passion was for her Lord & Savior and that others would come to know Him as their loving Lord and Savior also. "(16) For God so loved the world that He gave His only-begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. (17) For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but so that the world might be saved through Him. "(John 3:16-17 MKJV) "(6) Jesus said to him, I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life; no one comes to the Father but by Me."(John 14:6 MKJV) "(8) Because of his kindness, you have been saved through trusting Christ. And even trusting is not of yourselves; it too is a gift from God. (9) Salvation is not a reward for the good we have done, so none of us can take any credit for it. (10) It is God himself who has made us what we are and given us new lives from Christ Jesus; and long ages ago he planned that we should spend these lives in helping others." (Eph 2:8-10 TLB)

Having trusted by faith in the work of Jesus and His blood alone for her salvation, out of loving response she faithfully witnessed to, prayed for, loved, and cared for many. She can proclaim, "(7) I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: (8) Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing." (II Tim. 4:7-8 KJV) " (21) For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him." (2 Cor 5:21 NKJV)
