Barbara A. (clegg) Campbell

Plaistow, NH: Barbara S. (Clegg) Campbell, 75, died on April 8, 2014 at the Lawrence General Hospital in Lawrence, MA.

Born in Elmira, NY, daughter of the late Herbert and Kathleen (Foster) Clegg, she graduated from Evansville High School in Evansville, IN. She worked as a house cleaner for many years for local families.

A former resident of Lynn, MA, Mrs. Campbell moved to Plaistow in 1986. She enjoyed gardening and maintaining the yard and the area around the outside of her home, as well as decorating inside her home and being a housewife and homemaker. She most enjoyed time she spent with her husband and the many trips they shared together.

She is survived by her husband James F. Campbell, her brother and sister-in-law, Herbert and Jean Clegg of Chandler, IN, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Gary Clegg.

Relatives and friends may call on Friday, April 11, 2014 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main Street, Route 121A, Plaistow, NH. Her funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 12 at 10 a.m. in the funeral home. Entombment will follow in Elmwood Cemetery Mausoleum in Bradford, MA.
