Barbara Ann Barnes, 84, born August 8, 1933 in Long Beach, California, passed away February 3, 2018. She is survived by her daughters, Ann Crafton (Keith) and Carol Erbe (Gary), sister Winona Gustafson, and granddaughters Michelle Erbe, Christine Crafton, Kelly Smith (Ross), Brittany Martin (Matt), and Jessica Erbe. Barbara was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, sister, friend and mentor to many. She was a world traveler, an avid baker, and a fantastic Cribbage player. Barbara was an active member of the CSULB Alumni Association, Sigma Kappa Sorority, Long Beach Historical Society, and Grace First Presbyterian Church. As a retired teacher and counselor, Barbara touched the hearts and minds of many. She resided in Long Beach, California at the time of her passing. Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn, Cypress. Services are March 3 at 11:30 a.m.
