Aurelio Guysayko Viray

Our beloved Aurelio Guysayko Viray left us suddenly, but peacefully, on August 26, 2022 at the home he shared with his wife in Baldwin Park, California. He was born on 10/31/1957 and was only two months shy of his 65th birthday when he passed on. He was predeceased by his father Jose G. Viray, and leaves behind his loving wife Leonora (Onie), mother Medin , and siblings Manuel (Maria Cecilia Zosa), Jose Rafael (Virginia Abinoja), Maria Celeste (James Paul Solomon), Hector (Rachel Arcilla), and Aleli Anne. He also leaves behind his large extended family that includes aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, and stepsons JC and Gino. Aurelio was a loving, kind, gentle, and very generous person. He was a chef by profession and was passionate about food and cooking. He touched so many lives and will be sorely missed.


Visitations are scheduled for September 13 and 14, 2022 from 9 - 7 at Forest Lawn Covina Hills, CA. A funeral service will be held at Memory Chapel Forest Lawn at 2 PM on Thursday, September 15, 2022 with internment immediately following.
