Aurelia Gautieri

Aurelia "Goldie" Gautieri, known for her unwavering kindness and selfless nature, passed away on August 2, 2024, in Studio City, California. She was born Aurelia Rotar on July 2, 1923, in Torrington, Connecticut.Her spirit of unity and togetherness was evident in her proudest accomplishment of striving to maintain strong family bonds on both sides. She always offered compliments and positive messages. "You can do it" was one of her favorites, as she always made everyone feel like the center of attention.In her leisure time, Aurelia found solace in the pages of books as an avid reader. Additionally, she cherished moments watching shows like "Blue Bloods" and "Hawaii 5-0," along with passionately supporting the New York Yankees and Syracuse University sports. She is survived by her son Bob and many nieces, nephews and friends. Aurelia is reunited in eternal peace with her loving husband Frank, a marriage that lasted over 67 years. She is also preceded in death by her dear sisters Vera Costantino, Mary Vulcu, Jennie Gelormino, Helen Sikora, and Victoria Marshall. Aurelia leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion that will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.Her nickname "Goldie" was for a reason...her smile and laughter would always light up a room.Aurelia Gautieri will be remembered for her boundless love, unwavering kindness, and remarkable ability to bring joy and togetherness to all those around her.
